Abigail Hall
Abigail Hall werkte tussen 1 januari 2001 en 2002i bij ISOC.nl als manager Communicatie & PR. In haar functie was ze verantwoordelijk voor de corporate communicatie van Internet Society Nederland. Ze werkt nu bij Holland Casino's.
	Abigail Hall worked for ISOC.nl from 1st of januari 2001 to 2002 as manager Communication & PR. Her responsibility was the corporate communication of Internet Society Nederland. She now works for Holland Casino's.
Abigail is juni 2000 afgestudeerd in de Communicatiewetenschap aan de UvA, en heeft daarvoor, naast het behalen van haar propedeuse sociologie, ook een jaar aan de Kunstacademie te Maastricht doorgebracht.
	Abigail graduated june 2000 at the Department of Communication Science of the UvA (University of Amsterdam), and prior to that studied sociology and also spent a year at the Academy of Arts in Maastricht.

Tot haar takenpakket behoort onder meer: kennismanagement binnen ISOC promotiemateriaal en persbeleid informatievoorziening leden coördineren publiciteit rondom projecten promotie van ISOC.nl in het algemeen
	A few of the things she is involved with: knowledge management within ISOC promotional material and press policy information supply members coordination publicity for projects promotion of ISOC.nl in general
Buiten kantooruren houd ze zich bezig met: het bekijken van films tekenen, schilderen etc. kortom 'crea bezig zijn' het maken van reizen
	Outside of office hours she occupies herself with: going to the cinema drawing, painting, in short 'being creative' travelling around the world
Het internet is een enorme bron van waardevolle informatie, en moet daarom betrouwbaar en altijd toegankelijk voor iedereen zijn. ISOC is een ideele organisatie die zich op een praktische manier actief inzet voor de ontwikkeling, bescherming en verbreiding van het internet. Dat is in het belang van vrijheid van meningsuiting en democratie, en essentieel voor de ontwikkeling van een samenleving waarin niemand achtergesteld raakt.
	The internet is an enormous source of valuable information, and that is why it should always be reliable and accessible to anyone at all times. ISOC is an idealistic organisation that actively involves itself in a practical manner for the development, protection and proliferation of the internet. That is in the best interest of the freedom of speech and democracy, and it is essential for building a society in which noone gets left behind.
