Dublin Core and Metadata Applications22-26 oktober 2001 De hoeveelheid informatie (op internet, maar ook daarbuiten) wordt steeds onhandelbaarder. Metadata (gegevens over gegevens) zijn een belangrijke methode om hier mee om te gaan, en informatie te verrijken. Op deze conferentie zullen metadata in het algemeen, en de zogenaamde Dublin Core (een vaste set van gegevens, zoals de naam van de auteur, de datum waarop iets gemaakt is, etc) worden doorgelicht, en zal worden bekeken hoe de verdere ontwikkeling kan worden ingezet.
