Masterclass Mobile testing10 oktober 2012, Amsterdam[deze tekst in het Nederlands] Author and independent software engineer Julian Harty (UK) talks across the globe on improving mobile and Internet applications through the smart usage of tools. In the past he worked for eBay, Google, and a variety of other companies, including his own. He is the author of 'A Practical Guide to Testing Wireless Smartphone Applications', one of the editors of the popular Don't Panic Mobile Developers Guide to the Galaxy and co-author of browser automation framework 'Selenium'. Last year he was the recipient of the 13th European Testing Excellence Award In this masterclass Julian Harty will show how you can use freely available and tweakable (open source) tools to see if your (mobile) app or web application is behaving the way you think it is. In order to improve the usability and quality of applications, clever testing is essential. A lot can be automated. In his own clear and vivid style he guides his audience through the basics of automated testing of websites and mobile apps, and - judging by among others the Best Speaker Award on QA&TEST 2011 (Bilbao) - finds a way to share his passion for making software better and more useful by automated testing.
